Woman saying no to harassment beaten up by group of men in Yibin, Sichuan

Clip of a surveillance video at a KTV in Yibin, Sichuan, showed a woman beaten up by a group of men. It was the most discussed video yesterday on Youku.com, China’s top video streaming site, with over 1 million views and over 400 pages of comments so far.

From video description,
Woman:”Why you touched me? I am a good girl, not a prostitute.”
Man:”I touched you. So what?”
Then the brutal beating started.

According to a post on Tianya, China’s biggest BBS, the man in white with a bag is the caption of local traffic police, and the man in black is a wealthy local real estate developer, all of which were drunk at the time. The man in blacked grabbed the woman’s face and breast at the entrance. Then came the conversation above. One of the women screamed out “what you are doing (harassment and beating) is against the law.” The man in black responded:“I am the law!”

The incident itself makes people feel sad about the society. Sadder fact is that nobody at the scene dared to stop the perpetrator.
