Today is the second day of 2012 Gaokao, the National Higher Education Entrance Examination in China. Though more and more students choose to skip Gaokao (through ways like studying aboard), it is still the most important exam in the lives of many Chinese students, because to be admitted into a university is probably their only way to move up in society.
