Netizen reaction

I don’t know why they build White House-like government buildings. No one would applaud, only to condemn the corruption. Why not spend the money on hospitals and roads, which will be welcomed by the people. My town has less than 100 employees by the government but the government building takes up over 1/3 of the land. It is the best building in the entire town. Merely disgusting.

WFT. Merely looking at these pictures makes me angry. Why don’t they build more affordable houses for the people.

What can we do except for complaining. Now I know where my tax money goes.

After a look, the poorer the place is, the more luxurious the government building.

For an ordinary people like me, I can only afford 2 square meters of housing with a whole year’s income

The Chinese government is rubbish.

They occupy the people’s land and take the people’s money

In time of war, these buildings will be the first to be bombed. Let them die first, losers of the country. I cannot image how this luxurious life of theirs can bring any good to the people.

What I see is the hard labor and blood of the people.

“After a look, the poorer the place is, the more luxurious the government building.” – I call bullshit on this one. For example Kelamayi has been no 1 richest city in China for a couple of years now, and let me tell you, everyone lives pretty darn nice there.
